Strategic Location:

Initial Milling Capacity:

1,200 tons per day (TPD) with planned expansion to 2,400 TPD in the future. 

Production Targets (Phase 1):

• Copper Concentrate: 12,000 metric tons annually.

• Copper Cathode: 2,400 metric tons annually with 99.99% purity.

Timeline:

The plant is set for commissioning in Q1 2025, marking the beginning of full-scale production and establishing SMZL as a cornerstone of Zambia's industrial progress.
